As a fundamental component of our approach to executive search, we have long embraced the importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Our goal is to continue building upon what is working well and commit to ways that we can improve as we partner with clients to advance the goals of DE&I in the workplace.

Diversity drives better business outcomes. While there are numerous studies which highlight the correlation between companies with diverse workforces and positive business performance, we know this to be true based on our experiences to-date with our clients. We are proud of our track record in diversity recruiting where over the last three years 66% of candidates placed in leadership roles were female and 25% of the candidates were diverse.

We believe that together we can help our clients achieve their Diversity, Equity & Inclusion goals, work to eliminate inherent biases in hiring practices and deliver on our commitment to foster more diversity in the workplace.  

Our ongoing efforts to advance the goals of DE&I include the following:

  • Diversity Training: Ongoing, consistent training to raise our awareness of unconscious bias, as well as tangible steps leading to more effective diversity recruiting.

  • Diversity Council: An advisory group of senior leaders we convene three times a year to provide their perspective on best practices in DE&I recruiting, to discuss real world issues we face as a search firm and to strategize on how we can help advance the careers of diverse executives.

  • Network Expansion: Continual outreach and relationship building with successful diverse professionals from early stage career to C-suite executives.

  • Coaching/Mentoring: A focused initiative to provide counsel and career support to diverse professionals at all levels and stages in their careers.

  • Affiliation: In partnership with our clients, and specifically their DE&I teams, we seek to collaborate, consult and provide an “outside the company” perspective to achieve shared goals. 

Getting to a more equitable and inclusive workforce is a goal that requires a long-term commitment. As search professionals we are in a position to influence and help achieve the goals of DE&I in the workplace for our clients. It is a role that we embrace.
